Estimator

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule, contributing to the overall success of our construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand project requirements and scope.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimating.
• Utilize construction management software, to create detailed estimates and reports.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
• Provide support during the bidding process by preparing proposals and presenting estimates to clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a similar role within the construction industry - min. 3 years.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in price calculations.
• Familiarity with cost control processes and techniques.
• Proficient in using estimating software.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
