Ethical Hacker

Job Responsibilities

As an Ethical Hacker, you will:

  • Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and networks.
  • Simulate cyberattacks to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to resolve security issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and hacking techniques.
  • Assist in developing and implementing security protocols and measures.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Train and educate team members on best practices for cybersecurity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), networking protocols, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap, and Kali Linux.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Bash).
  • In-depth understanding of security frameworks like OWASP, ISO 27001, or NIST.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to document and explain security findings effectively.
  • Excellent Training skills for upskilling juniors.

Educational Background:

  • Higher Secondary (12th Grade) or Diploma in a related field is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
  • Experience with cloud security and securing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of social engineering techniques and countermeasures.
  • Familiarity with forensic analysis and incident response.
