Job Responsibilities
As an Ethical Hacker, you will:
- Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and networks.
- Simulate cyberattacks to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
- Perform vulnerability assessments using advanced tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to resolve security issues.
- Prepare detailed reports on security findings and provide actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and hacking techniques.
- Assist in developing and implementing security protocols and measures.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Train and educate team members on best practices for cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), networking protocols, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap, and Kali Linux.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Bash).
- In-depth understanding of security frameworks like OWASP, ISO 27001, or NIST.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to document and explain security findings effectively.
- Excellent Training skills for upskilling juniors.
Educational Background:
- Higher Secondary (12th Grade) or Diploma in a related field is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
- Experience with cloud security and securing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of social engineering techniques and countermeasures.
- Familiarity with forensic analysis and incident response.
