Serving diverse clients including EV drivers, corporate fleets, and infrastructure providers, we meet the evolving needs of the e-mobility sector by designing, installing, and managing both AC and DC charging solutions across Ireland.

Role Overview:
As an EV Support Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining EV charging systems. This includes both residential and commercial setups, customer liaison, and site management to meet key performance indicators. You’ll work on AC and DC charging solutions, ensuring safe and effective installation and operation, supported by a company vehicle, mobile, laptop, and PPE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up AC/DC EV Charger Hardware for workshop and field installation, including backend software configuration.
• Install, commission, and maintain residential and commercial EV charging stations.
• Conduct cable fitting, termination, and supplementary installations; liaise directly with clients to assess needs and provide solutions.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, identifying any malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Pre-plan and manage site operations to exceed KPI requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with all safety, legal, and statutory requirements, and report all incidents accurately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Fully qualified electrician with a valid QC number.
• Full, clean driving license.
• Experience in electrical diagnostics and familiarity with PC-based machine diagnostics preferred.
• Safe Pass, Manual Handling certificate, and experience with EV chargers (advantageous).
• Self-motivated and organized, capable of pre-planning work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €55,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
