Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

• To prepare the cold store for receipt of merchandise and unload trucks.
• Picking Daily Orders.
• Ensure receiving loads match the receiving documentation & report any deviations.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Work with delivery drivers to ensure customers receive correct orders and in an efficient manner.
• To perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors and manager, substituting for absent workers and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to customers during peak periods of business.
• To understand the operation, safety requirements and restraints of a pallet jack and forklift.
• To use stacking techniques that will prevent damage to product.
• Ensure adherence to OHS ACT, food safety requirements and use the company’s disciplinary guidelines as a medium to drive improved results.
• Ensure that the company is professionally represented by its ambassadors (cold store staff relevance) through training, dress code rules and other relevant interventions.
• Assist food safety team with internal audits, external audits and applicable training – (if required)
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Ensure paperwork completed and provided to relevant persons (signing picking sheets, good in notes, stock level updates etc)
• To work towards all H&S, Quality and Business KPI's
