Event Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in ensuring that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. This position requires individuals who are passionate about hospitality and customer service, with the ability to adapt to different environments and event types.

Duties

  • Provide exceptional guest services by greeting attendees and assisting with inquiries.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with food service, ensuring that all food items are presented attractively and served efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, such as making announcements or providing information about the event.
  • Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
  • Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Experience working with children is a plus, particularly for family-oriented events.
  • Familiarity with food service operations is advantageous.
  • Strong cash handling skills are required for managing transactions effectively.
  • Excellent public speaking abilities to communicate clearly with guests.
  • A friendly demeanor and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
