Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in ensuring that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. This position requires individuals who are passionate about hospitality and customer service, with the ability to adapt to different environments and event types.
Duties
- Provide exceptional guest services by greeting attendees and assisting with inquiries.
- Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment as needed.
- Assist with food service, ensuring that all food items are presented attractively and served efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, such as making announcements or providing information about the event.
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
- Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Experience working with children is a plus, particularly for family-oriented events.
- Familiarity with food service operations is advantageous.
- Strong cash handling skills are required for managing transactions effectively.
- Excellent public speaking abilities to communicate clearly with guests.
- A friendly demeanor and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
