About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Events Executive to join our Events & Sales team.
About you:
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales or event coordination.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Opera Cloud, ResDiary).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Sales-focused mindset.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for events, meetings, and group bookings.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Liaise with clients to understand their event needs and provide tailored proposals.
- Respond to event inquiries promptly and convert them into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain up-to-date client records using the hotel’s CRM system.
- Generate quotations for prospective bookings and timely follow ups.
- Prepare function sheets, contracts, and detailed event plans.
- Issue Invoices and record payments.
- Conduct property tours and site inspections for potential clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients and local organizations.
- Follow up post-event for feedback and future business opportunities.
- Be present during key events to ensure client satisfaction and smooth delivery.
