Role Overview

The Events & Group Sales Lead is responsible for driving group bookings and event revenue across the complex. This includes birthday parties, corporate events, school visits, private screenings, and team-building experiences.

This is a hands-on, role combining sales, customer service, and event coordination. The successful candidate will manage enquiries, proactively generate new business, and ensure a seamless experience from booking through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and convert inbound enquiries (phone, email, website)
  • Proactively generate new business through outreach to local companies, schools, and organisations
  • Upsell packages and add-ons (food, drinks, activities)
  • Coordinate all aspects of group bookings from enquiry to confirmation
  • Create tailored packages based on customer needs and budgets
  • Maintain an organised pipeline of leads, bookings, and follow-ups
  • Act as the main point of contact for group organisers
  • Ensure a high-quality experience that drives repeat bookings and referrals
  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth event delivery
  • Liaise with the marketing team to promote offers and improve conversion
  • Provide feedback on customer trends, popular packages, and demand patterns

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, events, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

This is a Full Time position, the successful candidate must be fully flexible with hours.
