Overlooking the Remarkable Mountain range and rising from the waters of Lake Wakatipu, the Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Queenstown offers 175 rooms and suites, Mackenzies Restaurant, meeting facilities up to 250 attendees and an ICON wedding venue.
About the role
Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, as the Executive Assistant Hotel Manager, you’re the go-to for any operational or guest query and there’s no problem that you can’t solve (always with a smile). You have a natural affinity for making people feel at home and you inspire the same GoMAD (go make a difference) attitude among your team. You embrace the ‘big picture’, without losing sight of financial targets and strategic goals.

Now, let's talk about you:

• You're a seasoned manager or restaurateur with a proven track record in Food & Beverage, event planning, and execution. While hotel industry experience is valued, it's not a deal-breaker.
• Your leadership style is natural, inspiring, and empowering. You're passionate about Food & Beverage, and your expertise speaks volumes.
• What truly sets you apart is your boundless passion for people. You excel in building relationships and effortlessly engaging your team and stakeholders alike.
• With a proven track record of developing and leading several head of departments, you bring a wealth of experience to the table.
• Consistently surpassing expectations, you're commercially savvy, driving revenue and profit growth across both Rooms Department and Food & Beverage.
• Your meticulous attention to detail, coupled with your flair for innovation and design, ensures every product presentation is impeccable.
• Above all, you thrive on creating extraordinary guest experiences, catering to the discerning traveller seeking meaningful connections.
