Job Description


As our Executive Assistant, you will be providing professional, strategic and administrative assistance and support to the Chief Financial Officer based in Sydney and the Chief Operations officer based in Brisbane. This demanding position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of NEXTDC by providing seamless support while also driving operational excellence.

Day to day duties will include the management of complex executives’ schedules, appointments and travel arrangements. You will be responsible for preparing strategic presentations, managing email campaigns, handling expenses and supporting the execution of events. This role requires the ability to anticipate needs, proactively solve problems and support cross-functional teams, ensuring our executives can operate at their highest level. You will be working and collaborating with a talented team of strategic Executive Assistants based across Melbourne and Brisbane that have our leadership teams support to drive our company’s growth and success.

In addition to executive support, you will be a key figure in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment across multiple Sydney locations (Port Macquarie, Artarmon). Your responsibilities will also include managing office supplies across our organisation, liaising with our senior leadership team, managing catering for executive meetings, guest, and customer meetings and when required, being first point of contact for any office-related needs, ensuring a welcoming and efficient workspace.

This is an initial 12 month Fixed Term maternity cover!


Qualifications


We are looking for an experienced, attention to detail focused, Executive Assistant with experience providing support at the executive level, with the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment. Experience in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel are essential.

As our person you should be able to demonstrate using initiative in previous roles and the professionalism needed at this senior level.

Being a proactive team member you will have a positive approach to each site which will include but not limited to maintaining office cleanliness, supply management, and ad hoc site requirements, bringing a can-do and helpful attitude will see you succeed in this role.
