Overview: We are seeking an innovative and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at a fine dining establishment known for delivering exquisite dishes and unforgettable dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary excellence, possess strong leadership skills, and demonstrate expertise in crafting menus that reflect sophistication and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Leadership
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring consistent quality and artistic plating.
- Develop and curate seasonal menus that align with the restaurant’s fine dining ethos and highlight fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
- Innovate new dishes while preserving the restaurant’s culinary identity.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful kitchen environment that prioritizes teamwork and efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Operational Excellence
- Manage kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and supplier relations.
- Ensure food and labor costs remain within budget without compromising quality.
- Maintain all kitchen equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely.
Quality Control and Standards
- Enforce rigorous food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor and uphold the highest levels of quality for all dishes served.
- Conduct regular tastings and quality checks to ensure menu consistency.
Guest Experience
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to align culinary offerings with the overall guest experience.
- Respond to guest feedback, using it to refine the menu and operations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in a fine dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Exceptional knowledge of culinary techniques, food trends, and global cuisines.
- Strong understanding of food and labor cost management.
- Proficient in menu development, including wine pairings and multi-course offerings.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
