Job Overview

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our weekend housekeeping operations. This leadership role is essential in upholding our high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and capable of managing and motivating a housekeeping team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee weekend housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Courtyard’s cleanliness and quality standards.
• Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to ensure consistency in presentation and hygiene.
• Develop and manage weekend cleaning schedules and checklists to optimize productivity.
• Collaborate with front desk and maintenance teams to ensure timely room turnovers and exceptional guest service.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure sufficient stock.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping.
• Stay informed of best practices and industry trends in hotel housekeeping and sanitation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, floor care, and janitorial procedures.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
• Prior experience in a branded hotel environment, especially Marriott, is a plus.
• Availability to work weekends, including holidays as needed.
