A bit about your role
The Field Improve & Transform team leads the development and execution of the nbn Field Strategy, aligning with corporate objectives and driving improvements in service, productivity, and quality. The Executive Manager, Field Portfolio Governance & Delivery, oversees strategic portfolio planning and delivery, partnering with executive and senior leaders to shape business cases, programs, ensures the accurate tracking of costs and benefits, provides executive governance, strategic insights and reporting.
This role develops executive briefing materials, partners with Executive and General Managers across the nbn organisation, identifies risks and opportunities, and delivers strategic insights to support decision-making, whilst mentoring the team to ensure successful outcomes.
A bit about you
We’re seeking a strategic professional ideally certified with a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Finance, IT, or a related field, and experience in strategy roles within telecommunications, engineering, or construction. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, top-tier consulting or financial modelling experience, and a deep understanding of telecoms processes, networks, and IT systems.
This role requires exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills, including experience managing teams and delivering customer-focused outcomes. Advanced communication and presentation abilities, along with expertise in strategic planning, operational analysis, and continuous improvement, are essential to drive impactful business results.
