Neurodiverse Playhouse | Spring Hill, Brisbane
Looking for a role where every day is different and every child leaves with a smile?
At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we believe therapy should feel like play, connection and belonging—not a clinical appointment.
We're looking for an enthusiastic Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our growing team at our beautiful Spring Hillclinic, working Wednesdays and Saturdays.
If you're passionate about helping children build confidence through movement and want to be part of an innovative multidisciplinary team that is redefining paediatric allied health, we'd love to hear from you.
About Us
Neurodiverse Playhouse is a holistic allied health practice supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents and their families through evidence-informed, play-based and neuroaffirming care.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Art Therapists and Paediatric Podiatrists, working together to help children develop the foundations they need to thrive.
We celebrate children's strengths, interests and individuality while creating meaningful therapy experiences that families genuinely enjoy attending.
The Role
As an Exercise Physiologist, you'll work with children and adolescents presenting with:
- Autism
- ADHD
- Dyspraxia / Developmental Coordination Disorder
- Hypermobility
- Toe walking
- Motor coordination difficulties
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Low muscle tone
- Balance and postural control difficulties
You will deliver a combination of:
- Individual therapy sessions
- Our highly regarded Sensory Motor Program
- Small group programs focused on movement, confidence, social connection and motor skill development
- School holiday intensives
- Collaborative multidisciplinary care alongside our experienced allied health team
Our sessions incorporate movement, play, coordination, strength, balance, primitive reflex integration principles and functional skill development in a fun, engaging environment.
No two days are ever the same.
What You'll Love
- Work every Wednesday and Saturday in our vibrant Spring Hill clinic
- Deliver fun, play-based therapy—not traditional gym programs
- Facilitate both individual and small group sessions
- Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team
- Weekly mentoring and professional development
- Opportunities to develop specialist paediatric skills
- Career progression as Neurodiverse Playhouse continues to expand
- A supportive culture where your ideas and passion are valued
About You
You are:
- ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (or eligible for accreditation)
- Passionate about working with children and adolescents

- Motivated to continue developing your paediatric skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in paediatrics
- Experience supporting neurodivergent children
- Knowledge of motor development or primitive reflex integration
- Experience working with NDIS participants
New graduates with a genuine passion for paediatric Exercise Physiology are encouraged to apply, with structured mentoring provided.

- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Australian working rights
