Exotics Trading Assistant, Associate, Institutional Equity Division

What you'll do in the role:

  • Trade Support & Structured Products Operations

Support Structured products trading desks across equity-linked and single-name derivative products.

Assist traders with daily trade booking, lifecycle event management, amendments, unwind processing, and expiry management.

Coordinate with sales, middle office, operations, and technology teams to ensure accurate and timely trade capture.

Monitor secondary market pricing dissemination across Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and internal pricing platforms.

  • Pricing, Valuation & Risk Monitoring

Monitor positions, P&L movements, pricing discrepancies, and risk exposures throughout the trading day.

Investigate and resolve breaks between internal risk systems, trader books, and external counterparties.

  • Python Automation & Process Improvement

Develop Python-based automation tools to streamline trade workflow management, and operational processes.

Collaborate with technology teams to improve workflow efficiency, reduce operational risk, and enhance desk scalability.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting

Prepare daily reports on positions, risk exposure, market activity, and trading performance.

Perform historical analysis on desk P&L, trade performance, and pricing behaviors.

Support traders with ad-hoc analysis related to market moves, structured product valuation, and execution performance.

What you'll do in the role:

  • University degree/ Bachelor’s in Engineering, finance, or related field with 0 - 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of equity derivatives and structured products.
  • Familiarity with swaps, forwards, options, and structured notes.
  • Strong Python programming skills with experience in automation, data analysis, or workflow optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced front-office trading environment.
