POSITION: Front of House Expeditor

SmoQue N’ Bones is seeking a highly organized and efficient Front of House Expeditor to join our busy restaurant team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring orders move smoothly and accurately from the kitchen to guests.

Your communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment will help deliver an exceptional dining experience. If you thrive under pressure and are passionate about great service, this role is for you.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Expeditor coordinates communication between the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring food orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent and uphold the SmoQue N’ Bones brand while creating positive guest experiences
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders
• Ensure dishes meet quality and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized pass and kitchen coordination area
• Communicate clearly with servers and bartenders to deliver orders accurately
• Address guest concerns professionally and promptly when required
• Support inventory tracking and kitchen supply ordering
• Assist in training new kitchen and expeditor staff
• Manage and coordinate delivery platform orders (Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Team-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid Food Handler’s Certification required
• Experience with food delivery platforms is an asset

POSITION DETAILS
This is a full-time role requiring availability for evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
