Alberco Construction Ltd., leaders in water sewer infrastructure and bridge construction, is hiring an energetic local experienced concrete laborer for a 2 year bridge project near Red Deer.

Opportunity for advancement into carpentry apprenticeship

Possible Year-round employment

GENERAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Load, unload, and transport construction materials.

- Use various site construction tools.

- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, and other items.

- Assist with placing and finishing concrete.

- Work year round in an outside environment.

- Identify hazards on site and contribute to a safe work environment.

General Requirements:

- Reliable vehicle to go to and from work.

- Preferably has confined space and fall protection tickets already.

- Physically apt to perform job duties.

- Ability to work as a team and communicate with coworkers.

- Willingness to learn general construction practices.

- Willingness to work overtime and out of town if required.

- Concrete and bridge construction experience is preferred.

Wages start at $22 to $28 per hour depending on experience. Benefit and RRSP plan.

This is a year round, full-time position with benefits and a professional atmosphere.
