Overview
Loop, high-tech dental office seeks experienced dental assistant for 3 doctor practice.
Not your average dental office: we embrace salivary testing, ozone therapy, functional dentistry and keep customer service as a top priority.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of chair-side assisting in addition to great organizational skills and the ability to do what it takes to help keep our clinic running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during exams and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Perform chairside assisting duties, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Must be proficient with digital X-rays
- Manage patient flow, keeping doctors on schedule.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Ensure the sterilization of instruments and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Utilize computer software, specifically Open Dental & Dexis.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is required.
- Experience with 3D scanners is a plus.
- Understanding of infection control measures within a dental environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
