Tasks/Responsibilities

• Ripping and pushing in a sand mine.
• Must be experienced wit Komatsu 375 or John Deere 850
• Demonstrate the ability to perform duties including; operation of Dozers safely and productively, push on stockpile, operates dozer to push materials to a specified grade
• Pre-Inspection, post-inspection, and safe operation of Loaders
• Maintains work area and equipment in a safe and clean condition at all times
• Following maintenance procedures in place for the work environment
• Ensure your production log is maintained each shift
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel
• Work safely and efficiently while maintaining production
• Ability to identify any safety and maintenance issues, and report them to immediate supervisor
• Responsible to abide by and support all company and plant safety policies, rules, and procedures as well as MSHA regulations

Skills/Qualifications:

• Komatsu 375 or John Deere 850 Stripping and pushing experience
• Good eye-hand coordination, balance, and depth perception
• Effective communication skills
• A sense of urgency in responding to all situations
• The ability to work varying schedules if needed
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team
• Responsibility in reporting to work on a consistent and timely basis
• Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and random ongoing drug screens
• Good attitude!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 55 – 70 per week
