Smith Groundworks are looking for an experienced Electrofusion Welder

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out Electrofusion welding to meet specifications and guidance to Uisce Eireann Standards

· The fusion jointing of polyethylene pressure pipeline systems using PE80 (MDPE) and PE100 (HDPE or HPPE) materials.

• Install watermain pipework and complete house connections in line with approved installation procedures.
• Work with a range of pipe fittings and house connection fittings.
• Carry out correct pipe preparation including cleaning and scraping to ensure high-quality welds and prevent failures.

Requirements:

• Valid Electrofusion Welding Accreditation/Certificate.
• Proven experience working with polyethylene pipeline systems.
• Knowledge of watermain installations and house connections.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team.
