Valet Restorations is a successful, family orientated emergency response company based in the beautiful region of the West Kootenay’s and Vancouver Island in BC. We are one of the preferred restoration teams for many insurance vendors in our service areas.

We are rapidly growing and expanding in other areas of the province, and we are looking to add a full time experienced fire, flood and wind restoration Project Manager to our team at our main branch in Castlegar.

Project Management Duties:

-Manage projects from the initial emergency call out to the end of final repairs

-Attend job sites for inspections and ensure job quality standards are being met

-Professionally communicate with homeowners and adjusters, maintain and develop these on-going relationships

-Accurately scope projects and build comprehensive estimates for all phases of the project

-Coordinate projects with in-house technicians, subcontractors, subtrades, etc

-Use of other property restoration software and tools

Project Management Skills:

- 3 years project management experience in the fire, flood, wind restoration industry

- Experience with Xactimate estimating program (creating and reviewing estimates)

- Knowledge of current BC building codes and all construction practices, IICRC and insurance industry guidelines

- Maintain professional relationships with insurance adjusters, able to build and maintain existing client relationships

-Strong communication, time management and organizational skills

-Valid driver’s license

-Be available for an on-call rotation to make sure after hours evening and weekend emergencies are answered. (This rotation works out to be 1 week approximately every 5 weeks.)
