Experienced Food & Beverage Assistant

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Experienced Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team, specifically focused on supporting meetings and events. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of all food and beverage services for our valued guests.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the set-up and breakdown of banquet spaces for meetings and events, ensuring adherence to high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver exceptional service to event attendees.
• Welcome guests warmly and professionally.
• Upsell menu items and beverages where appropriate.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience for all events.
• Learn and adhere to the hotel's food and beverage service standards and menu knowledge.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all service areas.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to develop your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably within a hotel setting.
• Proficient in bartending & preparing drinks..
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A flexible approach to scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures is a plus.
