Experienced Greenkeeper – Championship Golf Course

We are looking to hire an Experienced Greenkeeper for the Seve Ballesteros and Jeff Howes designed, championship golf course at The Heritage Golf Resort. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional greenkeeping team committed to delivering outstanding course conditions year-round. The successful candidate will work as part of the Greenkeeping Team and report to the Head Greenkeeper and Assistant Head Greenkeeper.

Specification

• Daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways and surrounding areas
• Mowing operations using specialist turf equipment
• Course setup including pin placements, tee markers and general presentation
• Bunker maintenance and course detailing
• Operation and routine care of turf machinery
• Assisting with aeration, topdressing and seasonal agronomic programmes
• Identifying and reporting course issues requiring repair or attention
• Ability to arrive to work as rostered and on time; follow directions and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and managers.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years experience working on a golf course
• Qualification in Sports Turf Management (Level 5 or equivalent) preferred
• Experience operating turf maintenance machinery
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Availability to work rostered weekends
