Experienced Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Cavan Vet Group is looking for an experienced Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated and progressive mixed practice team in the heart of Ireland's farming community. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident vet seeking a rewarding large animal role with a strong emphasis on herd health, preventative medicine, and client relationships.

The successful candidate will work within a supportive team of experienced veterinary surgeons, managing a varied large animal caseload across dairy, beef, and sheep enterprises. The role includes participation in a 1-in-4 weekend rota, providing a healthy work-life balance while maintaining continuity of care for our clients.

Applicants must be TB testing approved in Ireland. Experience with large animal practice is essential, and AHI scheme training would be highly desirable.
