About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Clark May Price Lawley & Paul as an Experienced Legal Assistant - workers' compensation, where your skills will directly contribute to our commitment to excellence in legal services. Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and legal documentation.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for case files.
- Draft and file legal documents with the court and other agencies.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
- Handle billing and invoicing for legal services rendered.
- Support trial preparation and attend court hearings as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal working with workers' compensation.
- Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
