Experienced Machine Operator

A great opportunity now exists for an experienced Press Machine Operator to join us working rotating shifts, day, afternoon and night shift.

• Operate machinery and use of hand tools in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures
• Ensure product quality and productivity standards are maintained to achieve customer delivery targets
• Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member
• Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E)
• Work constructively with colleagues to build a supportive, positive culture with continuous improvement

ESSENTIAL:

• Understanding of safety principles
• Maintain a high level of activity across all shifts
• Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment
• Understanding of quality principles
• Computer literacy

DESIRABLE:

• 2 years previous experience with automated machinery
• Ability to identify and help resolve problems
• Forklift licence
