Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair: Accurately diagnose and efficiently repair a wide range of marine engines, systems, and components.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance services to ensure the longevity and reliability of our clients vessels.
Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, offering clear explanations and recommendations to boat owners.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all services performed and parts used.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Marine Service Technician.
Certification: Relevant certifications (e.g., ABYC, NMMA) are desirable. Experience with Mercury Marine, certification with Volvo/Penta or Sailboat experience are also highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing marine engines, electrical systems, and other onboard systems.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Passion for Boating: A genuine love for the marine industry and boating lifestyle.
