Experienced Optical Assistant/ Dispensing Optician

As the Optical assistant you will be the first line of contact with the patients. You will guide clients through the patient journey from making appointments, advising on their entitlements and benefits, advising with spectacle frame selection and styles and fashion. You will work with Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians to provide a smooth workflow to make patients journey a pleasant one. Experience desired but not essential as full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will:

* Have a good leaving certificate or equivalent with a science module which helps with progression within the company.

* Good interpersonal skills and a team player.

* Ability to work on own initiative.

* Good computer skills.

* Retail experience and advantage.

* Highly motivated.

* High degree of empathy and have a flair for working with the public.
