Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Pipe Layer with proven skills in installing sanitary, storm, and watermain systems. This is a physically demanding role that involves working in trenches to accurately install, align, and connect pipes to precise line and grade specifications.

Responsibilities

• Level and compact bedding material before placing pipe.
• Lay, align, and join sanitary, storm, and watermain pipes to municipal standards.
• Install fittings, valves, hydrants, manholes, and catch basins.
• Prepare and complete tie-ins to existing systems.
• Use lasers, levels, and grade rods to ensure accuracy.
• Keep trenches clear of debris and ready for inspection and testing.
• Work collaboratively with operators, labourers, and foremen to complete daily tasks.
• Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in pipe laying for sewer and watermain installation.
• Knowledge of municipal installation standards and laser grade systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Physically fit for trench work and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety training in confined spaces is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
