Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of pizza styles using fresh ingredients, ensuring consistency and quality in every pie
• Manage dough preparation, stretching, and topping application with expert knife skills and attention to detail
• Operate pizza ovens efficiently, monitoring cooking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or toppings based on customer preferences and current trends
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and maintaining ingredient freshness

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pizza maker or in a similar culinary role within the food industry, including restaurant or fine dining environments
• Strong food handling skills with knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
• Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
• Excellent knife skills for efficient ingredient prep and precise topping placement
• Experience with menu planning, catering, or large-scale food service is a plus
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
