Ward & Ward Ltd. are a well-established family run business specialising in domestic haulage and plant hire. We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of experienced Plant Mechanic to maintain our expanding fleet.
Candidates would ideally have a Minimum of 5 years HGV, Plant and Construction equipment experience. Pay Scale will be determined by Skills and Level of Qualifications.
Principal Duties
· Service all plant to maximise efficiency of the fleet.
· Fault finding and preventative maintenance.
· Coordination of service and repairs
· Understand the job system with the ability to work on different machines at any given time.
· Good time management.
· Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
· Site visits for machinery breakdowns / services will be required.
· Keeping records of all construction plant equipment.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
Knowledge / Skills/ Experience
· Fully qualified plant mechanic desirable.
· Good computer literacy.
· Good experience in hydraulics systems.
· Full clean driver’s license.
· Able to communicate and be fluent in English (written and spoken)
· Ability to work on own initiative or with a team and to strict deadlines.
· Flexible and adaptable.
· Knowledge of CVRT
Working Days – Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday work)
Working Hours – 40 hrs + per week
The benefits on offer for this position are as follows:
·20 Days Annual Leave
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €47,000.00 per year
