Key Responsibilities

• Installation of solar panels to pitched roof, flat roof and ground mounts
• Installation demand-controlled ventilation systems
• Assisting plumbers to install heating system by lifting, refitting flooring and boxing out as necessary
• Assisting EWI crews installing external insulation by lifting and reinstatement of decking, small roofs, alterations to side gates
• Installation of drylining to walls and ceilings
• Second fixing joinery
• Snagging completed retrofit projects
• Alterations to existing radiators to accommodate installation of drylining
• Pressure testing of systems
• Carefully lifting and reinstatement of timber flooring
• Boxing out as necessary
• Ensure all installations are completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and SEAI code of practice
• Ensure all works are carried out in a tidy manner that minimises disruption to our customers
• Work to ensure that projects are completed within the required time
• Ensure all works are carried out to on strict accordance to all complete H&S requirements
• Complete all quality documentation on site to validate that all works are carried out to the correct quality standards

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years working as a roofer in the Irish domestic market
• Minimum of 1-2 years installing solar panels in the Irish market
• Previous experience working at heights with the use of a harness
• Up to date knowledge of health and safety legislation and control measures on site
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills to lead an installation team
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude for engaging with customers
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Clean, tidy with excellent attention to detail
• Commitment to get jobs completed within the required timeframe
• Willingness and openness to continuously improve
• Valid driver's license

Location: Based in Mayo with occasional need to travel throughout Connacht.

Working Hours:

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Specific Requirements:

• Full clean driving license
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling
• Drug testing and Garda vetting may be required
