Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welding/Fabrication Shop Hand / Laser Table Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the welding team by preparing materials, operating basic machinery (grinders, saws), set up, calibrate and operate a Laser Cutting Table, cleaning work areas, and organizing inventory. The ideal candidate will have a welding shop experience background and experience with the safe operation of various shop machinery, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Moving heavy material.
• Maintaining tools.
• Operating forklifts.
• General operation of a laser cutting table.
• Operation of a press brake.
• Conducting quality inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure precision and safety.

Experience

• Proven experience in a welding/fabrication or related fields is preferred.
• Strong knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
• Previous experience as a welding shop hand or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Wage: $24/hr
