We’re currently hiring for a Fabricator for our Edmonton Plant 3 location. In this role, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and get a little bit better each and every day, with the support of a team that always has your back. There’s more to any job than words on a page, but the focus of this role is fabricating commercial aluminum glass systems. On any given day, the Fabricaor is responsible for:

• (Fabrication of all commercial aluminum glass systems, doors and glass.

• Interprets CAD drawings, specifications, notes and instructions

• CNC programming (Glazier Studio/RhinoFab).
• Perform all the required quality controls associated for each fabrication/assembly step
• Determines angles, cuts components and notches aluminum
• Knowledge in various door hardware and manufacturers
• Safely & efficiently operate chop saw, up-cut saw, and other shop tools
• Assist in Inventory Control
• Working safely as per company health and safety policies at all times
• Help train any new employees
• Other duties as required

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Good English communications skills

• Must be physically capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs

• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure (Imperial and Metric)
• Ability to use precision caliper

• Ability to use a copy router, milling machine, various curtain wall punch, chop/MITRE/compound saws.
• Good attitude
• Must be personable, motivated, organized, willing to teach and have skills of leadership.
• Must be able to assess and remedy technical issues as they arise.
