Position: Facial Therapist / Aesthetics Practitioner

Responsible To: Practice Manager

Job Summary: Provides complete range of skin care consults and skin treatments utilising our state-of-the-art skin rejuvenation technology; promotes skin care product lines and laser treatment sales; manages market activities related to skin care. Flexible schedule available contingent on right individual.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• ITEC/CIBTAC or equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least three years experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Patient Services

• Performs skin care consults and treatments, including but not limited to: Peels, Hydrafacials, Diamond Glow Facials, Microdermabrasion, Microneedling
• Maintains patient skin care records, consent forms and detailed documentation of treatment, products purchased, medications prescribed, complaints, educational information, and copies of personalized skin care regimens
• Ensures the skin care room/area exhibits a comfortable and professional look and feel; maintains all equipment and furnishings
• Coordinates patient care with surgeons, including but not limited to the use of topical medications, pre- and post-operative care, and various patient compliance concerns
• Maintains knowledge of cosmetic surgery procedures performed in the office and makes appropriate referrals
• Works with medical staff to develop and maintain appropriate post-surgery skincare regimens

Promotion and Marketing

• Coordinates with the manager to develop promotions and marketing plan.
• Promotes skincare products and laser treatments to patients and staff
• Identifies areas of services designed to expand skincare and practice services
• Participates in skincare and practice marketing and promotional plans including events, focus groups, seminars, community presentations, and advertisements

Other

• Maintains products inventory; submits new product order requests to Manager
• Identifies potential new skin care product lines for the practice to sell
• Maintains patient confidentiality by following the HIQA Compliance Plan established by the practice; releases PHI in accordance with the practice's HIQA Compliance Plan, attends regular HIQA training, maintains data security by refusing to share computer and other passwords, and reports all identified and suspected HIQA violations to the Privacy Officer
• Performs all other tasks and projects assigned by the Manager or surgeon
• Ability to perform body treatments.
• Ability to provide Microneedling treatments are a bonus.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with one late evening shift required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year

• Beauty & cosmetics sales: 3 years (required)
