FACILITIES COORDINATOR

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible with the day-to-day implementation of company policies and procedures that ensure a well-maintained facility (ies) both interior and exterior. This position coordinates the activities and vendors required for current and future needs of the building.

  • Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility(ies) including custodial, safety and general maintenance, are implemented and carried out.
  • Maintain project lists, notes and updates for senior management regarding all corporate facilities and any assigned off-site requests.
  • Complete property walks (on and off-site) in order to ensure facilities are maintained and recommend areas/issues that should be addressed. Follow-up on all projects through completion.
  • Manage maintenance contracts to ensure they are reviewed on a regular basis and are bid out as required; verify that invoices match contract pricing and that all back up has been provided.
  • Ensure that all site-specific documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time, including: Emergency Procedures Manual, Janitorial Log, Vendor Certificates of Insurance, and other reports and documentation, as required.
  • Assist in support of special events planned by others.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience in facility operations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
  • Requires some early morning, evening and weekend meetings.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Facilities maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Forklift: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • OSHA 10 (Preferred)

  • Lake Bluff, IL 60044 (Required)
