Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Coordinator to facilitate the repairs and maintenance of a portfolio of buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and aesthetics of the shared facilities, infrastructure, and amenities within the property. Reporting to the Branch Manager, The building manager will be the main contact for all repairs and maintenance and the conduit between the client and contractors, whilst being supported by a team of administration and onsite assistants. A reasonable level of computer literacy is essential to ensure your success in this position.

Importantly, you'll be representing the Cambridge Management Services brand and your professional attitude coupled with confident communication style will ensure that all matters are handled effectively for stakeholders.

About the Role:
  • Support the identification and resolution of day‑to‑day maintenance issues to ensure the safety and functionality of building systems.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, contractors, and strata stakeholders, maintaining positive and professional relationships.
  • Attend regular meetings with management, the strata committee, and service providers, offering clear operational updates.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule to support long‑term asset performance
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of service agreements and maintenance contracts in line with building needs
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with relevant strata regulations and building standards
  • Respond to urgent issues and incidents, coordinating communication with residents and contractors as required.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications effectively for reporting, communication, and general operational tasks.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to support smooth building operations and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
About you:
  • Experience working within Strata or residential building management, with an understanding of building systems and maintenance processes.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, contractors, and committee members.
  • Awareness of local building codes, strata legislation, and safety requirements.
  • Experience supporting or managing maintenance contracts and service providers.
  • Basic budgeting awareness and the ability to monitor expenses within set guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools relevant to building operations and reporting.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to team outcomes and operational continuity.
