Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, plumbing systems, and landscaped areas. The role ensures facilities are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Responsibilities:1. Plumbing Maintenance
- Inspect, repair, and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Identify and fix leaks, blockages, or other plumbing issues promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
2. Landscaping and Groundskeeping
- Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, planting, trimming, and irrigation.
- Maintain and repair outdoor equipment like sprinklers and garden tools.
- Identify and treat landscaping issues such as pests, weeds, or soil erosion.
- Ensure grounds are clean and visually appealing.
3. General Facilities Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of the property and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform minor repairs in areas such as electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and supplies.
- Assist with special projects and facility upgrades as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
