About the role:

Oversee all Workplace Facilities Building Management. Including the operational and building management of soft services within one of our Banking Clients in Sydney Precinct CBD area.

Collaboration and partnership with the Guest Services Manager and Workplace Services Teams is crucial for cross-functional alignment. We celebrate our achievements and support one another in creating a high-performance culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead minor works projects end-to-end, covering business cases, approvals, procurement, compliance, and permit management
  • Manage relocation projects including planning, supplier coordination, execution, waste reduction, and post-move support
  • Coordinate facilities support for events, activations, filming, and specialist space management across lobbies, auditoriums, and outdoor areas
  • Monitor and respond to Facilities Inbox enquiries and oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance delivery
  • Ensure reactive maintenance completion within agreed timeframes and conduct regular service quality inspections
  • Manage work order platform, identify process improvements, and ensure financial compliance and accuracy
  • Oversee contractor and vendor performance through meetings, invoice processing, rate verification, and procurement coordination
  • Prepare compliance reviews, monthly vendor reports, and assist with management reporting requirements
  • Maintain safe working environment through fire, health, and safety compliance, contractor inductions, and risk management program implementation
  • Deliver exceptional customer service as primary on-site contact, building strong stakeholder relationships across all organizational levels in the Sydney precinct

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have solid experience and exceptional knowledge of workplace services programs, vendor management, and project management, including workplace readiness and technical facilities management experience in large-scale assets. This role will be responsible for managing and supporting all Workplace Services vendors, employees, and contractors.

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role will be well regarded.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience working in corporate real estate / facilities related fields.
  • A demonstrated aptitude for the interpretation and analysis of numerical data with an ability to extract into clear and logical reports with a particular attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • An understanding that Facilities management services involves the provision of both reactive maintenance and routine maintenance across the allocated portfolio with 24-hour call out / contact requirement
