Factory Hand / Production Worker

Tailor Your Resume for this Job

Are you currently working in a hands-on factory, manufacturing or production role and looking for a stable, long-term opportunity?

Kelmatt Industries is a proudly Australian-made manufacturer in Scoresby, and we're looking for a dependable Factory Hand to join our team as we head into a busy production period.

This is a physical, hands-on factory role - not a pick-and-pack warehouse position.

You'll be on your feet throughout the day, moving and organising materials, loading and unloading, collating components, packing finished products and assisting across different areas of production.

We're particularly interested in people who are already accustomed to this type of work and can demonstrate a reliable, stable employment history.

Typical Duties:

• Moving and organising materials within the factory
• Assisting across all areas of production as required
• Collating components and materials for production
• Loading and unloading materials and finished goods
• Packing and checking completed products
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Helping the team complete daily production priorities
• Learning to operate production machinery once trained and ready

Our Requirements:

• Currently working, or have very recently worked, in a factory, manufacturing, production or similarly physical hands-on role
• A stable work history and genuine interest in a long-term position
• Comfortable with physical work, including moving materials, loading and unloading, and being on your feet throughout the day
• Willing to assist across different areas of production rather than expecting one fixed task
• Comfortable with repetitive work when production requirements call for it
• Able to work at a good, consistent pace and remain productive throughout the day
• Able to follow instructions and learn new processes
• Take pride in doing the job properly and producing quality work
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong attendance record
• Able to reliably travel to our Scoresby factory Monday to Friday
• Willing to learn additional production skills and machinery as you gain experience

We provide training on our machinery, products and manufacturing processes. You don't need to arrive knowing our equipment - we're more interested in proven reliability, work ethic and recent experience in a physical production environment.

If you're used to hands-on factory work and want a stable position with an established Australian manufacturer, send us your resume and tell us briefly about your recent work experience.

Please only apply if you can reliably travel to Scoresby for a 7:00am or 8:00am start Monday to Friday.

Pay: $26.50 – $33.10 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
