Primary care clinic is searching for caring, dependable, and energetic Provider to join our team at our Family Medicine Clinic in Madison, AL.
What can you expect as a part-time team member?
- A fast-paced work environment, caring for 30 patients per day, on average
- A 20-hour work schedule, consisting of 8-hour weekday shifts.
- Flexible schedule allows for work-Life balance.
What’s required?
- State License as an APRN
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP or ANCC
- DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- BLS certification
- Master's degree
- Currently licensed with the Alabama Board of Registered Nursing
- Understanding of medical coding and billing
- Accurately document Patient Status and Care
- At least 1 year work experience as Nurse Practitioner
- Notate findings and treatment course in patient electronic chart including follow-up notes
- Explain procedures and discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients
- Competent with common EMR applications
- Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent and non-urgent presentation
- Select, order, perform and interpret tests, analyses and diagnostic images to provide information on patient condition and augment physical findings
- Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patients
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and injury
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 per hour
