Family Support Co-ordinator - Part-time circa 18 hours per week paid pro-rata to FTE

Home-Start Wessex has an exciting opportunity for a Family Support Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team, as we further expand across West Dorset and the Purbecks. The postholder will be based in West Dorset and the role will involve liaising with families to assess their needs, working with them in a group setting and managing a portfolio of volunteers, who will provide them with practical help and support.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual who has relevant qualifications and experience working with children and families. The post will involve working across the community, supporting volunteers and visiting families in their homes and running family groups.

Home-Start offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in our local communities, so you will need to be passionate about helping families and children experiencing a range of difficulties.
