About this role:
As our Family Time Visitation Facilitator, you will work with your supervisor to create your own flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, to supervise visits in the client home, community, or in our offices. Families involved in this program have children removed from the home and into the child welfare system due to allegations of abuse and/or neglect.
During these supervised visits, you will utilize a trauma informed lens to provide engaging parenting skills training, psycho-education aimed towards increasing a family’s bond, and in the moment re-direction and parent coaching in order to promote the safe and successful reunification of families.
You will be an advocate for the families, setting goals with the assistance of the caseworker and families, documenting progress, reporting any concerns of alleged abuse/neglect, testifying in court as needed, and providing transportation if required by the referral.

Perks:
- $20.75-21.25/hour
- Additional $1/hour for surpassing base client services goal
- Flexible schedule working 20 or more hours/week
- Trained in TRBI and Motivational Interviewing evidence-based theories
- Employee position, not a contracted role
What we’re looking for:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, etc)
- Prior experience working with kids, crisis intervention and conflict resolution, and knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
- Ability to install car seats and transport children to appointments
- Evening and one day per weekend availability
- Proof of valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
