During harvest, you would operate farm equipment and be part of the harvest team to make sure crops are harvested and stored as efficiently as possible. Duties

• Diagnose and repair various farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, plows, and tillage equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire repairs, and fluid checks to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, combine, tractors with dump wagens and manure spreaders.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on diverse farm equipment.
• Conduct welding and assembly tasks to repair or modify machinery components as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all repairs and maintenance tasks

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or hands-on experience working with farm machinery and heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive repair techniques.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation.
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, combine and tractors with implements
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments regularly.
• Electrical experience related to farm machinery systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
