Position Overview: As a Sale Associate, you will represent our brand at the Strathcona farmers market, showcasing and selling our premium spirits and whisky. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with people, has a passion for spirits, and thrives in a dynamic, community-based setting. The position is full year-round position

Responsibilities:

• Open and close our booth the farmers market
• Assist with liquor orders, counts, and orders of products as needed.
• Educate customers about our products, including the distillation process, flavor profiles, and suggested pairings.
• Conduct tastings to provide customers with an immersive experience and encourage sales.
• Maintain inventory levels, handle cash transactions, and reconcile sales at the end of each market day.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong knowledge and appreciation of spirits and whisky.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively engage with customers.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to handle alcohol sales.
• Current and active ProServe certification.
• Able to stand/work on your feet for up to 8 hours.
• Requires a reliable scheduling for weekends

Pay: $20.00 per hour
