INDO-PAK FOODS LIMITED T/A Star Kebab is a well-established fast-food eatery in Auckland, renowned for serving authentic and delicious kebabs. We are currently seeking dedicated Fast Food Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Job Responsibilities –
- Prepare and cook a variety of fast food items following company recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock needs to management.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and chillers while ensuring proper temperature control.
- Sterilize utensils and cooking equipment before each use and regularly clean food prep areas.
- Discard expired or spoiled ingredients and follow proper food handling protocols.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food quality.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Work Hours and Benefits:
- Minimum requirement of 30 hours per week.
- Compensation ranges from $25 to $30 per hour.
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent time management skills.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods.
- Hardworking and passionate about the job.
- Keen attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
