Fast Food Supervisor / Senior Cook

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Fast Food Supervisor / Senior Cook to join our busy takeaway team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has strong cooking and food preparation skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is confident taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy takeaway.

The Role

As Fast Food Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard while helping to lead the team during busy periods.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
• Organising food preparation and ensuring ingredients are ready for service
• Supervising staff during shifts and helping to organise daily duties
• Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control
• Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
• Monitoring stock and reporting when ingredients need to be ordered
• Helping with opening and closing procedures
• Training and supporting team members
• Keeping the kitchen and preparation areas clean and organised
• Taking responsibility for the smooth running of the takeaway when required
• Providing friendly and professional customer service

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working in a fast-food, takeaway, restaurant or similar kitchen environment
• Has excellent cooking and food preparation skills
• Can work quickly and efficiently during busy periods
• Is confident supervising and supporting a team
• Has good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling
• Is organised, reliable and able to work under pressure
• Takes pride in the quality of the food they produce
• Has good communication skills
• Is willing to get involved and lead by example
• Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Own transport

Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but we are also interested in experienced cooks who are ready to take the next step into a supervisory role.
