Job Description: As a Feller Buncher Operator at Antler Creek Contracting Ltd., you will be responsible for operating and maintaining feller buncher machines to efficiently harvest timber. This role demands attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate feller buncher equipment to cut and gather trees for processing.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and adhere to instructions from supervisors to meet production targets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report significant issues or delays.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating feller buncher machines or similar heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of forestry and logging operations.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Certification or training in operating feller bunchers is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
