Seven Angels Care And Support Services is a NDIS registered company and a caring and reliable support worker to join our team.

This unique role is perfect for a mum with firsthand parenting experience who understands the challenges of juggling care giving and childcare.

General duties include;

  • Providing community access service.
  • Owns a baby car seat to ensure safe and convenient transport of children.
  • Is compassionate, patient, and proactive in supporting families.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Provide personal care and support and assistance to individuals in their own homes
  • Transport to and from medical appointments and social outings
  • Supporting people with complex needs

To be successful you will need :

  • An understanding of delivering care in a person centered way.
  • A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability
  • Availability and to be reliable & punctual.
  • Clear and effective communication skills and ability to speak another language is highly desirable
  • The ability to problem solve and keep strictly to the program and routine
  • Ability to engage positively with a variety of personality types
  • Ability to fulfill shift duties and have excellent time management skills
  • Have appropriate visa to work in Australia
  • Have an empathetic and understanding approach to providing care to people with complex needs including mental health
  • Must be a competent and knowledgeable cook

Required qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in relevant field
  • Certificate 111 or above in disability, aged care, community care with minimum 6 months work experience
  • Victorian Full drivers' license or valid Australian license.
  • Current Police check within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain prior to employment
  • Working with Children Check (WWC)
  • NDIS worker screening check (NDIS-WC)
  • Smart phone with the ability to install apps
  • Current first aid/CPR certificate
  • Drivers license and own fully insured transport
  • Completion of the NDIS new worker module or willingness to complete as part of the organizations induction process.
  • Manual Handling training (or willing to obtain)
  • International Police check (if applicable)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunization evidence
  • Students encouraged to apply
  • Flexibility around availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work variety of shifts

Job Types: Casual, Contract

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Shift work
