Hours of work per week: 30 hours / Full Time

Work Locations: Georgetown, Ontario; Peel Region.

Job Duties

• Install residential, commercial, and industrial fencing including wood, chain-link, ornamental steel, vinyl, and privacy fencing.
• Measure and lay out fence lines according to project specifications.
• Dig post holes using hand tools and powered equipment.
• Set and align fence posts in concrete.
• Install fence panels, rails, gates, hardware, and accessories.
• Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and work orders.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, compact equipment, and other construction-related equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport fencing materials to and from job sites.
• Perform fence repairs, modifications, and maintenance work as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills Requirements

Education:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience installing commercial fencing.
• Experience with wood, chain-link, ornamental, and vinyl fence systems is considered an asset.
• Experience operating construction tools and equipment required.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Ontario driver's licence considered an asset.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
