Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fencing Assistant Project Manager to join our team and lead fencing projects from inception to completion. As an Assistant Project Manager you will be responsible for daily activities in support of the Installation Teams. This includes but is not limited to daily staging of job materials, receipt of material deliveries, cutting of fence materials to specification, and job site visits as required for inspection or delivery of additional materials. You will be responsible for equipment tracking and storage along with materials inventory. . Duties
- Lead and supervise fencing installation crews on job sites, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, the Operations team, and suppliers to ensure necessary materials are available.
- Site visits of active jobs as needed to ensure installations are progressing in a timely fashion and help address material shortages or installation issues.
- Effectively track material usage, equipment, and job activities.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Maintain proper yard and warehouse organization.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s license
- ***Solid Performer who wants to grow with the company
- Experience in fencing, woodwork, or other construction/repair type activities
- Ability to learn and understand the fencing product lines you are supporting
- Assist with small project/repairs as needed
- Ability to read/create basic diagrams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Google (Docs, Smartsheet, Gmail)
- Ability to work with limited supervision in high paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Forklift Certification or willing to obtain
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and fencing installation. OSHA certification or willing to obtain
- Ability to lift 50lbs
